Living by the coast

Render, walls and roofs
Render can show staining and green growth, especially on the sides that stay damp. We softwash it, which is a low-pressure approach that cleans without harming the surface. Roofs get the same treatment for moss and lichen.
Solar panels are worth a mention too. Salt, dust and bird droppings on panels can reduce how much light gets through, so a periodic clean makes sense for homes with them.
